Good Morning y'all!

I have a back to back seminar later on from 11-2 but I am not sure if I want to go now. The weather is alright but it's too good to just sit in a room listening (or sleeping) to the tutor talking about Equity and Trust. And EU law! Sucks man! I hate that law.

I have a house to view today at Sutton Coldfield. I have several options. Sutton Coldfield, Perry Barr or Erdington. Sutton Coldfield is a VERY nice place. But it will take me at least 45mins by bus to uni (two buses) or 15mins by train. Train is not bad. Return ticket is £1.20 the cheapest and £1.90 the most. I could go to town by train now and not suffer from those shit smell on the bus. Apakan dorang ani!? Why do they let ME suffer! Pemalas jua kan mandi and groom eh!

Then comes Perry Barr. It's not a nice place to be honest. But it's just a walking distance to my uni. 5-10mins away. I will save alot as I won't be having to pay my bus fare. But then, the area is my main concern. I don't like boring, old looking houses. Let alone those ugh... smell. And banyak orang lingka wah here. EEEEE... why birmingham! If it wasn't because of Bullring, I would have gone to warwick (closer to Mr SPA). I know..macam racist ah. But banar! Lingka sini ani bida wah! Kalau di Brunei.. teruk kamu! And perasan berabis dorang sini eh. Tapi accent ah.. tergulung saja lidah.. boooooooo!!

Then Erdington. A very balance place in terms of the distance. It's in the middle. One bus that goes to town (15mins) and then another bus goes to my uni (15mins). But Erdington is a well known place for people living on benefit. I know I shouldn't underestimate them but really, the people there are very much different. The way they talk, dress up etc. They are rough. Rude? aren't MOST of the brummies rude?

Among all the houses, the one is Sutton Coldfield is the most expensive room (£60/wk inclusive) BUT they'll give me a tv with sky in my room,king size bed, telephone, 20mb internet. Not bad right. Then Perry Barr comes next coz it's 5mins walk to uni. I could save £40 a month on transport and use that to buy mineral make up! Last but not least, Erdington. But i still have to view these houses yet before I jump to conclusion.

In a dilemma AGAIN. *sigh*

So, Mr SPA is coming to visit me on Saturday. I am very nervous. I even checked on the do's and don's for.... ok, to be continued in my next post coz housemates are making some toasts downstairs and I am soooo gonna drool. See ya later!

NOT the thief y'all! Calm down..

SPA man just arrived today from somewhere (work thingy). So.. we were talking about our 'date'. Okay, not a date. It's just going to be a casual outing, I hope. But I think I like him. Definitely not the first time you heard me saying that. But hey, it wasn't my fault when I ALWAYS like someone and then that someone just does not have the same feeling. OR vise versa. Please God. Not this time. Not him. Coz I REALLY LIKE HIM. This time is for sure.

He has everything that I want from a guy. Like EVERYTHING. It took me a long time to finally moved on from my previous relationship.. 2 years I think. And of course, many rebound guys. The last guy that I dated was a teacher but I didn't see it going anywhere.

I am 22 now. 22 going on 30. Therefore, I need to start seeing someone already. Knowing him will take awhile.. And just incase this one doesn't work, it wont be too late for me to find the replacement. Don't judge yet! I am not as bad as you thought. I want a real life. I want a husband who loves me. I want to have white+Brunei wedding and then have babies. At least I have a reason why I have a beer-belly. Some people are lucky to find their lifetime partner straight after uni and then get married at the age of 26-27. And then a child by 29. Simple huh. But some are just less fortunate.

So, let's just keep our fingers crossed. I really don't want to spoil it this time. I will keep on being myself but sometimes I just scare them. It's hard to be a 'queen' you know! But I am sure SPA man is a no ordinary man.. He is the King! Haha..yea yea,.. I am soo perasan!

My landlady is staying over the night with us. Maybe nightS. Until the house is fully equipped with security devices. New gate (electric one), sensor lights, double glazed door in the kitchen (without flaps!) two locks for the second door, new lock for the front porch, CCTVs, and a burglar alarm that dials the police number. Yay!! I am very very very happy.

So, went to 'zikir' lastnight with HG. It's every Tuesdays but I am not sure if I wana come to any after this. Well first, they wear their hijab like ninjas. You could only see their eyes. Scary jua tu! I was asked to pakai catu jua.. Omg, takut berabis ku! Secondly, the mosque is crap. Sorry! But seriously.. Lawa lagi stor di rumah wah! The broken windows are not even replaced! No heater. Err.. it's winter guys (opps.. brothers n sisters), walaupun tutup semua badan with the hijab, still sejuk kali ah! I didn't wear my coat lastnight coz i thought the mosque was u know.. macam di Brunei. Lil that I know... baik lagi surau. Like 30x better!

Then we slept at HG's friend. An apartment in Edgbaston. LAWA! I really like it. Had the best tiramisu before going to bed (the few ingredients in the tiramisu: digestive biscuit, white chocolate and vanilla sugar) Gosh.. D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S berabis!!

Then today, I missed the Public law seminar. Coz I forgot that it's the only WEEKLY seminar! Errrggghhh!!! But American Legal Practice today was awesome. We were told to get our CV ready and once we've done that, gotta email it asap. Those who wana go to Savannah, the lawyer will come to BCU next Thursday and he will interview them himself! This is quite tough, coz he will only take ONE student to work in his office. LLB vs LLM? I rather go to New York or San Diego. Or maybe Texas! LA would be the best place but 2mths of pro bono? Haha.. U're kidding right!

Ok, the spotlight time! I am (AGAIN) the defense counsel for another bail application. Eeeaaassssssyyy!!! I so can't wait! Friday morning, SHARP 10. Suit and.... HIGH heels... I need some height more than I need luck! :) Night everyone!

Another one today

The police officers just came in to check on any fingerprints they might find using the magic powder (whatever they call it). They said they will keep in touch with me and asked if I would appear in court if they found the morons? Err... Hello? I am a lawyer! A future lawyer! I've been to courts. I've seen lots of trials. I've heard lots of sentences. No way I would be scared of these idiots! I might also want to sue them for making me emotionally depressed!

Oh, forget it already.

It's amazing to see how I am coping with the tragic incident that happened to me lastnight. Well, of course I was extremely devastated. I even cried after that. But I think I am alright now. I am fine everyone!

Ok i lied.

I couldn't sleep though I am very sleepy. I haven't slept since the incident happened. I am not hungry either. I am feeling homesick.

Parents knew about it and they were very worried about my safety. They asked me to look for a new house. But landlord said she will give me some money to cover some of the loses (half of it I supposed) and take the expensive room upstairs but will not charge me more than what I am paying now. She even gonna get us a new door that has more safety and get sensor lights for our entrance and the garden. Oh, the cctv that has always been in its box in the living room will get installed as well on wednesday. Ok, that's not too bad right? This thing hardly ever happened here anyway.

My house is popular for it's posh people, big detached houses and nice cars. Yea, they only have audis, beemers and mercedes here. But down the hill, is a rough area. Where drug addicts and mentally retarded, morons kids live. The police said we could be the less fortunate house as it just around the corner and it's easy to actually hide behind the bushes and all. But they will never came back coz police officers will keep an eye on our area. Thank you officers!

So.. I am in my new room now. A bigger room. Bigger wardrobe. Near the bathroom and oh.. it has a lock! :)

I hope I could sleep like a princess tonight. I am not sleeping with the lights off now. I am sure it will take a while to recover.. But with my mom's and everyone's pray.. I am feeling very much safer now... Thank you mom. Thank you everyone.

You'll think I am crazy

... for blogging right after a crime scene at my property about an hour ago. Two men broke into my house. Into my room more like it. My room is the only room downstairs with 3 doors i.e, door to the living room, garden and kitchen. Two were locked but the other one wasn't.. COZ THE DOOR DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A LOCK!!

3ish AM

I saw someone opened my door with a small torch in his hands bending towards the chair nearby where i put my fan heater and my bags. I thought it was my housemate who just wanted to switch my heater off (WTH?). But then I realised that it wasn't her, it was a MAN. What's a man doing in our single sex house? - I thought. Then he went on searching other things on the table. That was when I realised that he's a thief. I started to panic. Didn't know what to do so I pretended to be asleep... He went out after a minute of "treasure hunt". That's when I quickly woke out of bed.

I called housemate but she didnt answer. Duh! It's 3am! I was very scared and grabbed my pants (from the floor) and put--- ok, skip that part- and thought about escaping through the kitchen's door. But I had a mixture of feelings. "What if he is still in the house?" "What if he has a gun or a knife with him?" I got more petrified now and went back to bed instead and read all the prayers that I know.

1min after.... White light came in from the living room.

HE'S BACK!!!??!! - at this point, I almost cried.

But this time, there were TWO men. They searched my stuff thoroughly. From my table to my closet and my drawers. I kept on pretending that I was unconscious and got my duvet to cover my eyes. I really thought I was gonna get killed. And die.

They searched and searched and searched, and then a minute later, they left. Leaving my doors well shut.

I waited for at least 30 seconds and then took the risk by calling 112 (phone was under my pillow). - what was I thinking? The song 'Don't Hate Me' -112.

1-2mins later...

I saw some sort of lights from the garden.

Then someone opened my door. I know. I am dead.

The light went straight to my face. Like DIRECTLY to my face. I ignored it. Coz i rather not know how I was killed.

"Police! Are you okay? You are safe" -- "Gosh! Thank you! Help me please!!" This is really "CSI" Miami Birmingham? I thought to myself.

You don't know how thankful I was to god. THANK YOU TUHAN. I have those random thoughts about being killed in a horrific way. If you ask me when was the time I was being so pessimist and a negative thinker? I would say.. that moment, that night (morning?), 10th November 2008.

Then I was interrogated by the police officers. They found my bags outside my house. With all my cards (useless cards). Two bags and some notebooks. MY PICHE (my pink book) is torn!!! EERRRRGGGHHHH....

I felt like crying when I saw my student ID. I am a student you bastards! You got nothing from students! NOTHING! Ok, that is so not true. We are richer. We don't pay the council tax, our bus pass is reduced. And I am a Bruneian.

So, I got all my belongings except for my...

*credit cards

*my camera

Apparently, they took all my credit cards from my purse. Fortunately, there wasn't any cash as I spent them all yesterday. (I bought a pair of very nice jeans and some bras!) So LOSERS! Ure just wasting your time! I do hope u get caught.

Next, my precious camera. PINK LUMIX. I have completely forgotten about my camera until I saw my Fendi hanging near my bed. I was like.. "luckily these thieves have no idea what a Fendi is". Then something just clicked! My camera! I put my camera in that bag! I went straight to it.. and... you know what happened next... :'(

I wish they have stolen my fendi now.. Lumix is one of my valuable stuff. But it's the pics in the memory card that make it priceless :( *sigh*

But then.. I think I am a very lucky girl. Like VERY VERY LUCKY..

*They didn't take the $£$ that I put in an envelope which was right ON THE TABLE. They might have thought it's just an envelope.

*They didn't rape me though I was half naked!

*They didn't take my macbook though it was underneath my legs.. or maybe they didn't see. Coz i had many things on it. Like my jeans, papers, ..food?

*They didnt take my ipod and my watch that were buried in my books on the table.

LESSONS!

*WEAR PROPER NIGHTWEAR before going to bed. Sleep with your pants on!

*Lock your room

*Make sure you take the keys out of the lock once you've locked it. Coz we found out how they got into the house - Through the kitchen door. We locked our key but left it hanging on the door. They used a pin or something small to push the key until it dropped and took it from the 'cat's hole' on the door.

*Read your prayers

*And save 999 onto your mobile phone!

*Have your belongings all insured if possible.

*Do not let your house be completely dark! Leave some lights on like the kitchen's and the main entrance's. It would cost alot in your bill BUT you'll be alot lot lot safer.

Now.. it's 6.30am and I couldn't go back to sleep. I am not sure if I could be a "Sleeping Beauty" again after this eventful, horrific night.

I just talked with my dad on the phone. And cried.

I want to go home.

I have nothing to blog really.. Sponge Bob is not on skype or msn. Well, I know he was out on a date with sister watching HSM.. but it's past midnight already. They should be home. Ugh! I hate this part.. The part where you miss someone, thinking that you could talk with him on msn or skype but he wasn't there. And then you start thinking of him.. Asking questions, wondering.. Like what if we're... blablabla.. and listening to old crappy emo songs like Apa Saja... Ewwww.... Why can't it be easy!! Why cant it be like - i like him and he likes me.. :(
